TITLE : The Hutts Mistake
|
Prince Qel Dar was brought back off his vacation once again today to respond to recent aggressive actions by the Hutt Council, the Prince read the following statement.....
Earlier today as an act of good faith Vigo Acria Larkin landed on Nal Hutta to discuss galactic commerce with the Hutt Council. The Hutts, seemly showing the galaxy that a large body does not always house an enlightened mind, aggressively took Mrs. Larkin into custody. As I understand it, they have turned away our outstretched hands of trade and business for a small outstanding bounty on Acria Larkin.
The Hutts also threaten to confiscate our ship and Vigo Larkin\'s escorts should a represenitive of Black Sun not appear to claim them soon.
Black Sun Trading has now dispatched the 2nd fleet to Nal Hutta to ensure the return of our assets and members in good health. The 2nd fleet consists of a number of Capital Starships, support vessels and star fighters. I have given the fleet Commander permission to use any necessary tactics needed to ensure the safe return of our people from the Hutts. Upon arrival in Hutt space the fleet will be taking a defensive position around Nal Hutta with concentration on the city of Pawa. We advise all civilians to stay out of Hutt space due to the soon to be high level of danger.
I have also dispatched the Third Fleet from their military exercises near Ando to go to Vigo Acrias aide. Princess Krystal is now on route to take diplomatic control of the third fleet and open up talks with the Empire with the hopes of clearing Mrs. Larkin\'s name. I would like to stress that currently we do not hold any hostilities towards the Empire but we are deeply concerned with the well being of our chief Diplomat. No matter what Vigo Larkin has done in the past she is now an upstanding law abiding citizen and member of Black Sun Trading.
We are however entering into a hostile status with the Hutt Council. We will be holding an embargo over Nal Hutta until our assets and people are returned. We will also require payment for the costs of this campaign, funds used to provide Acria with proper defence advisors and any cost accrued during the process of returning her home safely.
The Prince was quickly escorted back to his command ship. After a few minutes the large Battle Cruiser entered hyperspace for parts not disclosed. One thing was made apparent by his demeanour and statements, the impending war with the Hutts and the concern for the well being of his members have cut his vacation short, and some will be paying for that.
